In 2012, he won the 1st All-Ukrainian Festival of Innovative Projects «Sikorsky Challenge 2012» — the first place for research work «The tool for managed hypothermia for patients with cardiovascular pathology». 2. Vitaliy Maksymenko, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
V.B. Maksymenko is the Deputy Director for Scientific Researches on a voluntary basis at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery NAMS of Ukraine, President of “All Ukrainian Society of Biomedical Engineers and Technologists”, FECECT Scientific Committee Member (www.fecect.org), Editor in Chief of the journal “Biomedical Engineering and Technology” (Ukraine).
Under the guidance of prof. V.B. Maksimenko 6 dissertations are defended and 2 dissertations are carried out for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in the specialty «Biomedical Engineering».

3. Alexei Lebedev, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences.
Alexei Lebedev was awarded the State Prize of Ukraine for the development of welding of living tissuesin 2004. He headed the department in the Paton Welding Institutesince 2004 to 2008. He was a leading researcher at in the Paton Welding Institutefrom 2009 to 2016.
Alexei Lebedev is a co-author of 9 patents for inventions (USA), 4 patents in the World intellectual property organization, 3 patents in the European patent organization, 2 patents (Canada), 2 patents (China), 1 patent (Germany), 14 patents (Ukraine), 1 patent (Russia), 8 patents of the USSR. He has 160 scientific publications, 72 of them in professional journals.
4. Valerii Orel, Professor, PhD, D.Sci, Professor at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Graduated Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institutewith a degree in ”industrial electronics”. Holds the position of Head of Medical Physics and Bioengineering Research Laboratory at the National Cancer Institute. Awarded State prize of Ukraine in science and technology in 2013 for the work «Devices and tools for cancer diagnosis and magnetic nanotherapy».h-index = 13.
The supervisor and scientific researcher of the project funded by the Royal Society “Technology Strategy Board”,2011-2014 years «Magnetic nanotherapy of cancer» at the Cavendish Laboratory of the Department of Physics, Cambridge University, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
5. Victor Zubchuk. Associate professor, candidate of engineering sciences, associate professor of department of the biomedical engineering of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
It is the deputy of manager of department of the biomedical engineering from methodical work, by the member of Expert advice of the NTUU «Kyiv polytechnic institute of the name of Ihor Sikorski» from educational editions.
Under the direction of Zubchuk Victor 3 candidate’s dissertations are protected and a 1 dissertation is executed on the receipt of scientific degree of candidate of engineering sciences after speciality the «Biomedical engineering».

6. Andriy Solomin, Associate Professor, PhD, Associate Professorof the Department of Biomedical Engineering of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
He graduated from Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv in 1974. in the specialty «Radiophysics and Electronics (quantum electronics)» (according to the new list — «Applied Physics and Nanotechnology»). He worked as a senior researcher in the research part ofTaras Shevchenko Kyiv University, where he performed a number of scientific projectson special topics. In 1984 defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences. For 5 years he served as the scientific secretary of the specialized council for the defense of dissertations.
Since 2011 works at the faculty of MMIF (FBMI) KPI first as a senior lecturer and then as an associate professor.

She graduated from Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv in 1986 in the specialty «Biochemistry». She worked as a senior researcher in the RE Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Research interests: experimental medicine.
PhD thesis: “Effect of local adsorption on proteolytic and detoxifying systems in burns”.

Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute in 1971,withhonors. Speciality – medical care, qualification – doctor. Candidate of Medical Sciences, scientific specialty – Anaesthesiology and intensive care.
Dissertation topic: Comparative characteristic of anaesthesia with nitrous oxide and ether, halothane, narcotic analgesics by hemodynamic parameters and myocardial contractility during mitral valve replacement.

In 2019 was defended a thesis on the subject of“Information technology for estimating the course of epilepsy by indicators of electroencephalogram complexity” (specialty 05.13.09 – Medical and Biological Informatics and Cybernetics)

11. Larysa Kalashnikova, Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Deputy Deanfor International Cooperation.
In 1983 shegraduated the Biology Faculty of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University, by specialty «Biology and Biophysics». In 1994, She defended her dissertation in two specialties: «Сhemistry of natural compounds» and «Pharmacology».
Since 1994 he has been working as an associate professor at the Center for International Education at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, andsince 1996 he has been working as an associate professor at the Acoustics and Acous to electronics Department, of Faculty Electronics. At the Acoustics and Acoustoe lectronics Department, she teaches disciplines of medical and biological orientation. She teaches such as disciplines «Biology with the basics of physiology», «Methods of diagnosis and therapy», «Influence of acoustic waveson biological systems», «Environmental acoustics».
Since 2015 he has been working at the Faculty of Biomedicine, is an associate professor of the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Since 2016, he has been acting Deputy Dean for International Cooperation.

She is the author of more than 70 scientific publications. Among it the more 10 articles in the SCOPUS scientific and metric database. She has three patents: two for a utility model and one for an invention.
12. Mykola Bogomolov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Head of the interdepartmental laboratory of laser medicine.
From 2005 to 2007 he studied for a doctorate at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, majoring in «Optical Devices and Systems». He is working on his doctoral dissertation on «Interaction of laser radiation with blood cells».
Areas of scientific and engineering activities: fiber-optic transducers, telemedicine systems, optoelectronic biomedical diagnostic and therapeutic complexes, laser irradiators of blood and biologically active human points, infrared surgical and ophthalmological scalpels, modern medical blood complexes for disease diagnosis.
In 1998 he organized at the Faculty of Radio Engineering and was responsible for the specialty «Biotechnical and medical devices and systems», an official expert of the Ministry of Education and Science on accreditation and licensing of this specialty.

He graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine «Kyiv Polytechnic University» in 1998 with a degree in «Biomedical Electronics» and received a qualification — Master of Electronics.
He defended his dissertation on the specialty «Biological and medical devices and systems» on the theme «Adaptive magnetic therapy system with pulsometric feedback».

Senior Staff Scientist of the Department of Welding and Related Technologies in Medicine and Ecology, E.O. Paton Electric Welding Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Investigates butt welding of materials and welding of soft living tissues in medicine.

15. Maryna Sychyk, Candidate of Engineering Sciences, PhD, Assistant Professor of the Department of Biomedical engineering of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Field of specialization are scientific research and engineering support of complex radiological and electrophysiological equipment in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.
Dissertation – «Catheter radiofrequency ablation of cardiac arrhythmogenic zones of improved
efficiency and safety» on specialty «Biological and medical devices and systems».
Educational disciplines: «Clinical Engineering. Diagnostic and therapeutic methods in arrhythmology and electrophysiology»; «Biothermodynamics and mass transfer. Thermodynamics of biological processes and systems».
Interned in the electrophysiological laboratoris of leading clinics of cardiac surgery of Czech Republic (Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine, Prague), Slovakia (National Cardiovascular Institute, Bratislava), Hungary (Gottsegen National Cardiology Institute, Budapest) and Austria (Abbott office, Vienna) as participation in clinical training «EnSite Precision NavX and Claris practical clinical training» (2020) and «EnSite Precision and Claris Introductory Course» (2018). Zubkov Stanislav Vladimirovich a senior lector at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and he is the research supervisor of the student design bureau.
